Dutchman Bed

A dutchman is an inlaid patch used to repair wooden objects (like boats and antique furniture). Ben's first Dutchman Bed came about as he was repairing a wooden slab to be used for a headboard. Many patches were necessary, and as the piece evolved it became clear that the dutchmans had become the defining theme of the headboard, hence the name.

Each Dutchman Bed is made to order and can be requested as a headboard (to be hung on the wall) or with a full bed frame. Please contact Ben for pricing and details.
